2008   Frank Sullivan
Frank Sullivan is Gainesville's premier jazz musician.  After honing his piano jazz talents playing clubs throughout the central Midwest and the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area, Frank moved to Gainesville in 1979.  He has played with such well-known jazz musicians as John Abercrombie, Buddy DeFranco, Nathen Page, Bobby Shew and Ira Sullivan.

During the early years of our jazz society, the Frank Sullivan Trio was the rhythm section playing with national and regional headliner jazz artists for the Gainesville Friends of Jazz Concert Series held at the Thomas Center.
